Yes! When my son was on the MIT campus for the horrific shooting of the cop, he was listening in on a police scanner and emailing us how wrong CNN had everything. Wouldn’t THEY be able to get a hold of a scanner too? Or have better sources? Later, it turned out my son was right about all of it.

I always find it interesting to read or listen to a “news” account of an event in which I participated or observed in person. I mean, how many ways are there to get the story wrong?
